FAMILY BUSINESSES AND THEIR STRUGGLE WITH CURRENT ECONOMIC CHALLENGES

During the TREND Conference Family Business 2023, the latest legal and tax amendments in legislation, the role of marketing, transfer of ownership, as well as generational change in family businesses were discussed in four thematic blocks.

Peter Štrpka, partner of the law firm SOUKENÍK - ŠTRPKA and advisor to the Minister of Justice, in a panel discussion within the first discussion block on the topic "Family companies and legislation in Slovakia", presented to the conference participants the latest proposed legislation related to the topic of family companies, which is currently in the inter-departmental comment procedure, namely the institute of "private foundation" as one of the tools for more efficient asset management.
