The fraudulent messages that have been brought to our attention during this period are sent via the Gmail service (from an address in the format @gmail.com) and have no technical or operational connection whatsoever with our systems.
This constitutes misuse of our trade name and an attempt to commit fraud. Such conduct amounts to so-called spoofing and phishing, the purpose of which is to mislead the recipient. Law firm soukeník — štrpka has no ability to intervene in or control these sender accounts or their operation.
How to proceed:
- Check the sender’s e-mail address. If the address does not appear trustworthy or seems suspicious, do not engage further.
- Do not react to or reply to fraudulent e-mails. Any contact with fraudsters may aggravate the situation.
- Do not open any attachments or links contained in these messages. They may contain malicious software or phishing links intended to obtain your sensitive data.
